In Major League Soccer, New York Red Bulls beat Montreal 2-1 thanks to two goals by Thierry Henry. And, in the NHL Playoffs, the New York Rangers beat Washington to tie the series at 2-2.

Meanwhile, in a preview of the Champions League final, Bayern Munich and Dortmund had a 1-1 draw in the Bundesliga. In the NBA Playoffs, Brooklyn was eliminated by Chicago. The New York Knicks had their first game of the second round against Indiana and lost. In the NHL Playoffs, Pittsburgh beat the New York Islanders 5-4 in overtime. And, in baseball, the Yankees lost against Oakland, while the Mets lost against Atlanta.
