The Rudy Report thinks that there is only one thing that is for sure in life and that is a smoke detector battery always going dead in the middle of the night, like today on "National Thesaurus Day." The Rudy Report is asking calendar companies to sell calendars by the month for people who do not want to commit to a full year, like today on "National Ditch Your New Year's Resolutions Day." Anyways, birds are obviously the most disgusting creatures in the world. Nobody likes them, even the people that say they do. Birds in Syria, however, seem to be the worst....

Several moving companies in San Diego are refusing to work for the Chargers as the team is getting ready for its move to Los Angeles. In the NBA, the New York Knicks had a close loss against Atlanta. And, in the NHL, the New York Islanders crushed Boston 4-0.

Anyways, the presidential inauguration is taking place this week. It will be an important moment in US history. But it will also be a moment to say thank you....
