The Super Bowl is coming up and Rudy is sure that you're also getting excited about the imminent victory of the New York Giants over the New England Patriots. If you don't have any tickets, you may be able to sneak past security and go unnoticed as long as you're prepared...
Several insiders suggest that Peyton Manning is close to announcing the end of his career. Let's hope he won't pull a Brett Favre. Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is rumored to be looking at job offers in England. In the NBA, the Knicks beat Detroit. And, in the NHL, the New York Islanders beat Carolina, while the Rangers lost against New Jersey in a shoot-out.

However, in this economy, it is getting increasingly harder for kids to find jobs, even in sweat shops (known as saunas in Europe). Some folks, who always seem to prosper, are still hiring though. The Los Angeles Lakers are said to be interested in Gilbert Arenas. Other than that, it was a pretty quiet sports Monday with neither the Knicks, nor the New York Rangers playing any games.

Written by Rudy on January 30, 2012 - 1:16 am -This is the Rudy Report and it is January 30th, and you know what that means.... that's right, it does not mean anything, today on "National Yodel for Your Neighbors Day" (one of Rudy's favorite holidays). While there are many people all over the world that want to start trouble, Peter Singh is certainly not one of them. Lesser known in the Western world, he is a performer in India. American Idol contestants would stand no chance against him. His slogan leaves nothing to be desired...
There are rumors that LeBron James is unhappy at the Miami Heat and wants to return to Cleveland. By the way, the Knicks lost again, this time against Houston. At the Australian Open, Novak Djokovic beat Rafael Nadal in a spectacular 5-set match to win the championship. Victoria Azarenka beat Maria Sharapova to win the women's trophy. There was also the NFL Pro Bowl, but nobody watched it with all eyes on the Super Bowl on Sunday. At the Handball European Championships, Denmark defeated Serbia in the final to capture the title. And, at the NHL All-Star Game in Ottawa, Team Chara beat Team Alfredsson 12-9, with New York Ranger Marian Gaborik being voted MVP and scoring twice against his Ranger teammate goalie Henrik Lundqvist.

We live in a world that is full of signs. Some leave room for interpretation, some are pretty clear. This one right here leaves no wiggling room for any excuses...
Officials are looking into whether Maria Sharapova could be penalized for her excessive moaning and screaming during matches. It annoys everyone! There were no games in the NHL ahead of the All-Star Game. And, we are just one week away from a Giants Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots.
