The Rudy Report thinks that the NBA will have a labor deal in place by tomorrow, which will allow for the new season to proceed. Tiger Woods is no longer in golf's Top 50 rankings. In the MLB playoffs, the Yankees lost against Detroit, which means that they trail the series 2-1 now. Don't worry. They will come back. And, there was Monday Night Football with the Colts playing against Tampa Bay. Do you want the result? I didn't think so...

The Boston Red Sox will get a new manager next season. In the playoffs, the Mets... just kidding... the Yankees won the first and lost the second game against Detroit with the series now tied at 1-1. In the NFL, the Giants beat Arizona, thanks to a great 4th quarter effort. The Jets played against Baltimore. The result? Ask ESPN. And, in the Premier League, ManU, Liverpool, ManCity, and Chelsea all won their respective games. Tottenham beat Arsenal 2-1 in the North London Derby.

We have to slowly get ready to say goodbye to September, but that's okay, because the Rudy Report will now start preparing you for the Christmas (yes Christmas, not "Holiday" season, we don't do Hanukkah or Kwanza or Denali or Escalade around here) season, today on "National Read a Child Book You Like Day." We live in a world that is so concerned about political correctness. As you know, Rudy doesn't care about that at all. But even here at the Rudy Report, there are some words that are simply unacceptable...

The players of FC Barcelona have complained that their Nike jerseys are too heavy when soaked with sweat. In the Norwegian league, Jone Samuelson scored a 57-meter goal with his head, which will get him an entry in the Guinness World Records book.
