Written by Rudy on September 20, 2011 - 1:04 am -

For as long as you read the Rudy Report, you will never stop learning, because every issue is packed with great information that the world did not know, like today on "International Student Day." Do you know how you know that you're getting old? Well, there are many indicators. One of them is knowing what Microsoft is. Do you remember how happy you were when you got your first Windows operating system? No? Well, have a look....

In baseball, Yankees closer Mariano Rivera set an all-time record of 602 career saves in the Yankees' win against Minnesota. The Mets? Who cares... And, on Monday Night Football, the New York Giants had a fairly easy win against the St. Louis Blues.

Raising The Roof

Written by Rudy on September 19, 2011 - 12:38 pm -

As you know, while the Rudy Report was away during its Annual Summer Break, global financial markets could not handle the absence and were in turmoil, but now Rudy is back and everything is under control, today on "National Positive Thinking Day." This summer brought us the downgrade of the United States as the government raised the debt ceiling to prevent bankruptcy. It was such an abstract concept to many people. What exactly is a debt ceiling and how high is it? Well, the picture here explains it quite well...

The New York Knicks have tasked Isiah Thomas to lure point guard Chris Paul to the team next season. Let's see how that will go... Extra Calories

A recent survey by world-renowned scientists has shown that 54.1% readers prefer the Rudy Report over getting a parking ticket, which makes us more popular than law enforcement, today on "National Collect Rocks Day." It's true that due to different forces of gravitation, you may weigh more or less on other planets. You probably knew that. What you didn't know is that calories can also vary in different locations, like in California...

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has caused an uproar when he said: "I think, because I am rich, handsome, and a great player, people are envious of me." The Rudy Report is also absolutely outraged as well!! He stole that quote directly from Rudy. Unbelievable! The New York Giants have signed wide receiver Brandon Stokley. They should have signed Randy Moss... There is still no resolution in the NBA labor dispute. In college football, LSU beat Mississippi State. And, in baseball, the Mets got crushed by Washington, while the Yankees did not play.

The Rudy Report says Happy Birthday to Orel Hershiser, Karl-Heinz Riedle, Ron Brewer, Elgin Baylor, and Kazakh cycling legend Alexander Vinokourov. On this day in 1620, the Mayflower started her voyage to North America. Written by Rudy on September 15, 2011 - 12:23 pm -

A new survey has found that 76.8% of readers prefer reading the Rudy Report over a colonoscopy, which is slightly better than last year, today on "National Make a Hat Day." Life is not always easy.... unless you work at the post office. Nobody will give you opportunities unless you go and actively seek them out. Rudy says: "Go out and get what you want!" So don't wait and do it like this guy...

In a sign of a recovering economy, NBC says that it has already sold most of its Super Bowl commercial slots. In the UEFA Champions League, Manchester United only had a 1-1 draw against Benfica, Inter Milan lost against a Turkish club, and favorite Bayern Munich beat Villareal 2-0. The Champions League final will take place in Munich in May 2012. And, in baseball, the Mets lost against Washington again, while the Yankees had another one of those horrific late games.

Back On Track

Written by Rudy on September 14, 2011 - 9:32 am -

The Rudy Report is making its highly-anticipated, majorly acclaimed, and amazingly glorious comeback, allowing the world to be supplied with real news once again, today on "National Be Late for Something Day." It was about time, because during Rudy's absence, there were earthquakes, market crashes, and hurricanes. No more! While on vacation, Rudy traveled to all the hot spots in the world (not the actual thermal water hot spots, like in Iceland, but more like the coolest places on the planet). If you have been around the world, you have noticed that other countries can be quite different sometimes. One of the most beautiful countries in Europe, for example, is Italy...

You know the US Open results. You know that the Yankees won lots of games. You know that the NFL season has started. But I bet you didn't know that Rick Adelman will coach the Minnesota Timberwolves. How about that? Boring, I know. Cristiano Ronaldo is contemplating playing in the Russian league later in his career. In the Champions League, Barcelona had a 2-2 draw against AC Milan, while German champion Dortmund had a 1-1 draw versus Arsenal London. There were other games, but oh well... Former Boston Red Sox star Manny Ramirez has been arrested for domestic violence. It was his first hit of the season...
