Now that the Easter holiday is finally over, the Rudy Report will focus all its energy on the upcoming Christmas season, which is closer than you think, today on "National Static Cling Day." And in case you're wondering what exactly will be on sale, here's your answer...

Manchester United will play against Schalke in the first Champions League semifinal today. This will be followed by Real Madrid against FC Barcelona tomorrow. And, in baseball, the Yankees lost against the Chicago White Sox. All other New York teams are on vacation.

The Rudy Report is officially going on record to say that South Dakota is starting to piss Rudy off, because there are still no visitors from the state, and now the state will be the first ever to be banned from reading the report, today on "National Sing Out Loud Day." This Rudy Report is all about remembering and forgetting.... Where was I? Anyways, it's always hard to remember passwords, but for some its harder than for others...

In the NHL playoffs, the New York Rangers got eliminated by the Washington Capitals, losing the series 4-1. Let's hope the Knicks did better... Well, in the NBA playoffs, the Knicks didn't fool around and managed to lose four straight games against Boston... So, all we have left now is baseball, where the Yankees beat Baltimore, and the Mets beat Arizona. In the Premier League, Chelsea and Manchester United won their respective games, while Arsenal lost against Bolton. Tonight, Manchester City will play against Blackburn.

The Rudy Report says Happy Birthday to DeAngelo Williams, Felipe Massa, Tim Duncan, Vladislav Tretiak, and American basketball legend Meadowlark (yes, really) Lemon (yes, really). Balancing Act

This is the world-famous Rudy Report Weekend Edition coming to you on Good Friday, but if you keep on reading this report, it'll be a Great Friday for you for sure, today on "National Building Safety Day." You know this situation: You walk or drive by a construction site and usually there is one guy working and everyone else just looking on. What you didn't know is that the seemingly idle guys are fulfilling important tasks...

The Rudy Report's offer to buy the Los Angeles Dodgers has been rejected by Major League Baseball, because, allegedly, the offer was "way too high." Forbes ranks Manchester United as the world's most valuable soccer team at $1.86 billion, making it the most valuable sports team on earth. David Beckham is the highest earning player with $40 million. And, in baseball, the Mets crushed Houston. It's an Easter miracle!

The Rudy Report says Happy Birthday to Marshawn Lynch (his mother is Merrill, get it?!?! Still laughing? Good.), Kaka, Mark van Bommel, Dan Cloutier, and some guys with "Z"s, like Peter Zezel, Zygi Wilf, and Canadian hockey star with the most awesome name ever: Zarley Zalapski. On this day in 1970, the first Earth Day was celebrated. Came kind of late if you think about how long Earth has been around... Inflation Fears

Written by Rudy on April 21, 2011 - 8:26 am -

Rumors that the Rudy Report can actually stop an unstoppable force and move an immovable object are true, but you already knew that, today on "National Stress Awareness Day." The economy is out of the recession and now people are worried about inflation. It's true that prices are getting inflated. How can you tell? Well, as you can see in this example, even the price of "Nothing" is now apparently quite high...

The New York Giants will play against the Jets on Christmas Eve this year, if the season takes place as planned. Real Madrid won the Spanish Cup, beating FC Barcelona in the final 1-0 thanks to a goal by Cristiano Ronaldo in extra time. Now, the teams will face again in the Champions League. In baseball, the Yankees beat Toronto, while the Mets lost against Houston. And, in the NHL playoffs, the Rangers first led 3-0 against Washington, then it was 3-3, then the game went into double overtime, and, finally, they lost 4-3. Idiots.

The Rudy Report would like to share a study with you which found that 71.3% of readers prefer reading the Rudy Report over watching a Mets game with French commentary, today on "National Make a Quilt Day." Rudy does not shop online very often, but sometimes even the Rudy Report cannot say no to a deal, especially when it comes to rare collectibles. One of these examples is this one-of-a-kind piece from John F. Kennedy (the guy who owns that airport in New York)...

The NFL is going ahead with the planning of a game at Wembley Stadium in London, despite a risk that the lockout will continue. Meanwhile, there are rumors that Donovan McNabb may be traded to the Minnesota Vikings. In the NBA, the Knicks had another close loss against Boston.
